Come nasce la Cano-felpa – How my shirt is born
Ciao a tutti!
Ho appena finito una commissione per una mamma e il suo bambino di 6 anni che hanno scelto tra le mie creazioni proprio forse quella che piu’ mi piace e sono sicuramente più affezionata, il capo che io ho chiamato “cano-felpa” perchè sebbene sia a tutti gli effetti una t-shirt senza maniche cioè una canotta, richiama moltissimo grazie al suo cappuccio e ai profili in maglina una felpa.

i’ve just finished my commission for a mom and his little boy age 6 that they choosed one of my creations, maybe one of my favorite! the shirt that i called ” cano-felpa” ( sweatshirt-shirt) a shirt without sleeves and with hood like a sweatshirt!
Sono sicura che quando le arriverà il pacco sarà entusiasta sia dei colori che dalla fantastica mano del tessuto, morbido , liscio e sostenuto:io ne sono follemente innamorata, tanto che dopo aver toccato questi magnifici tessuti onestamente sono molto più critica su ciò che ci propongono i negozi.
i’m sure that she’ll received my creation she’ll be very happy about it, above all for the quality of the fabric, the colors and the particular smooth of the cotton. i’m really in love of this fabric, so after it is very difficult to me buy from kid shops, because the quality are less than that fabric
Ma come nasce una Cano-felpa?
How this shirt is born?
La parte piu’ impegnativa è sicuramente la realizzazione dell’apertura a polo che richiede una certa esperienza e manualità soprattutto per quanto riguarda la realizzazione su jersey.Se non ben eseguita si rischia di creare tante piccole pieghette antiestetiche tra la maglia e il tessuto più leggero.
The most difficult step was to sew the front placket because you have to need very exprerience , above all to sew jersey fabric.If you don’t sew it very well you risk to create a little ugly pleat between light jersey and knitting more heavy
Le operazioni che richiedono piu’ concentrazione e calma dopo l’apertura a polo sono sicuramente le ribattiture con ago gemello.E’ di fondamentale importanza realizzare cuciture dritte e pulite poichè il capo deve risultare ordinato e ben fatto. Non possedendo ancora la macchina per punto copertura mi devo arrangiare con i due aghi ma devo dire che con la mia nuova macchina il risultato è davvero molto professionale.
Another difficult operation is to do this with a twin needle, it is very important to do straight seams because the garments have to do very tidy and well done. I do not have a coverlock machine so i have to do with my simple sewing machine and twin needle, but the effect is very professional however
Alla fine però ciò che preferisco è personalizzare il capo con la mia firma e per il momento ho cercato di reallizzare da me le mie etichette e i miei cartellini, con un pò di ingegno il risultato è assolutamente professionale, ma soprattutto è tutto esclusivamente hand made!
In the end i prefer to costumize my garment with my mark and label so i serched a way to create my tag and hangtag by myself , with a little bit of creativity and fantasy the result is absolutly cute and professional , but above all is all esclusivly hand made!
Alla fine il risultato mi ha soddisfatta molto e spero che anche la mamma sarà felice di far indossare al suo bimbo la mia ” cano-felpa” e sono sicura che si troverà molto bene!
So i love the result and i hope that mom ‘ll love it too and she’ll be happy to wear the garment to her son,I’m sure you will find it very good!
